As of late, there has been a need for me to re-evaluate what I have going on around me. This is what I have come to conclude...
sometimes people that were once important in your life, and trustworthy, are not anymore.
Not everyone is taught to be considerate, and not everyone thinks like "we" do. Yes, all this gibble gabble may be quite obvious. Yet, they are the things we forget quite easily. Why?

Simply because we get to caught up in our own lives, and constantly forget there are bigger things going on in the world.

We live on a floating sphere for goodness sake.

So maybe its about time I started to take to heart the things going on around me, though I would prefer to stay in my own little Victoria(land).

Just as an update for myself:::
I am using this blog, Poised and Rearing, as a place:
  • for my poetry,
  • thoughts I feel worth sharing
  • music that inspires my daily life & makes my heart feel
  • and a place to file phrases about life said to me, that I might not yet have an opinion on, but think worth noting and coming back to
  • Lastly of course, I want to throw in my photography
A reflection of me, maybe.

Just know, if you do actually read my blog, and care, I am every evolving, so don't hold me to anything on my blog.

Are you that man?

I walked into Home Depot this weekend with my mother and heard this song. Of course the next logical step for me was to download it on my iphone. BAM. It became the soundtrack for my Fall Break weekend. There's just something about two nerds singing a song about walking 5oo miles, and then 500 more, and of course there accent doesn't hurt.

My great idea, hold a contest to see what guy could sing it the best.

Any takers? :)

Just enjoy the song. Nerds are the bomb-diggity.
